Skogshyddan is named after Nina’s Swedish summerhouse, surrounded by tall pine forests beneath deep blue Nordic skies.
Throughout the seasons, the landscape transforms through shifting shades of green and blue — from vibrant summer foliage to deeper forest tones.
Skogshyddan translates from Swedish as “the forest hut” and celebrates the peaceful beauty of the Swedish countryside, a place filled with family memories, nature and inspiration.

Materials
Each Skogshyddan medium placemat is individually handcrafted in Britain using sustainably sourced eucalyptus hardboard, selected for its strength, durability and smooth finish.
The 0.5cm thick eucalyptus board is finished with a superior melamine gloss surface, creating an elegant and practical finish that is:
- Heat resistant up to 140°C (320°F)
- Scratch resistant
- Stain resistant
- Easy to wipe clean
A non-slip cork backing protects your dining surface while keeping the placemat securely in place.
The Skogshyddan artwork is created from Nina’s original hand illustrated watercolour design, using her signature two-dimensional layering technique to create depth and movement within the artwork.
