Design Inspiration
Viktor & Maria were Nina’s beloved grandparents, who lived on Sweden’s largest island, Gotland.
This design was inspired by the beautiful mock orange that grew beside the entrance to their home. Each summer, its dark green leaves were covered with delicate white, wonderfully fragrant flowers — a simple and familiar part of Nina’s memories of her grandparents and the Swedish countryside.
Although mock orange is a summer-blooming flower, its crisp white blossoms and deep green foliage feel wonderfully fresh for autumn and winter. The richer evergreen palette gives the design a beautifully grounded seasonal character, while the luminous white flowers bring freshness and light.
Viktor & Maria celebrates family, Swedish heritage and the beauty found in the everyday places and memories that stay with us.
