Design Inspiration – Ekotemplet
Ekotemplet is named after the beautiful Haga Echo Temple in Hagaparken, Stockholm — a historic oval pavilion built in 1790 as a summer dining room for King Gustav III, who loved entertaining outdoors.
Growing up in Solna, just north of Stockholm city centre, Nina spent many happy childhood days exploring Hagaparken. The Echo Temple held a special fascination with its unique architecture, natural surroundings and remarkable acoustics, allowing conversations to travel around the large oval dining table.
Inspired by this connection between Swedish nature, heritage and the joy of gathering, the Ekotemplet design celebrates timeless Scandinavian elegance through its soft green tones and classic herringbone pattern.
